Kevin's Graduation

Kevin graduated on May 7th , 2011 from Warner Pacific College's adult degree program. Kevin started the program in the Fall of 2008. Every Thursday night from 6pm-10pm until this last November when he started taking classes on Tuesday nights. He has also been working full time for Terminix. I am very proud of Kevin for all his hard work! Congratulations Kevin!!!!

Alot has happened in our family! Kevin got his AA degree and started school at Warner Pacific College in the spring. In the Summer of 2009 I walked in the Portland to coast relay with my mom and other ladies from church. I was also in my good friend Kelsey's wedding. That fall Tyson turned two. 2010 was a crazy year, I had a miscarriage in May! It was a sad time in our family. In June Kevin and I had our 5th year Anniversary. In July we had an Adams family reunion at the Oregon Coast. My Parents Gary and Val, my sister Cari and her husband Aaron onlong with their four children, my brother Aaron and his wife Nichole and their four kids and Kevin and Myself with Tyson. All together that's 17 people camping together. Oh and did I mention that of the 9 children 5 of them were 2 years old. Yes we went camping with 5 two year olds. And we had a great time. Two days after getting back from camping I found out I was pregnant again. The End of July we went to Utah to celebrate Kevin's grandmother's 80th Birthday. It was an Anderson Family Reunion. In September my grandfather also had his 80th Birthday and went to Eastern Oregon with be with him. Tyson had his third Birthday that month as well. In October we found out that we were having a baby Girl!!! As the year came to an end I was getting bigger and our living space was getting smaller.

As 2011 started Kevin was coming to the end of school and we were preparing and making room for another person in our small apartment. On March 3rd Jocelyn Janet Paice was born. Weighing in at just 6lbs 8oz and only 18half inches long she was a tiny little thing. She was healthy and hungry!!! Today Jocelyn is 8 weeks old, Tyson has his 3rd ear infection of the year so he is on meds for that. Kevin has his Graduation May 7th we are so proud of him and all his hard work. He has been working and going to school full time now for over 4 years.

Well 2008 has come and gone and the Paice family is on the move. We had a white Christmas this year. We had two weeks of enough snow and ice for the Portland and Vancouver area to last a life time. Tyson growing ever bigger loved the snow and was not so happy when we would take him back inside. Kevin is also working is seems. He is getting ready to start school up again in a few months. It looks like he will be doing and 18 month program at Warrener Pacific College in Portland. He is hoping to be done with school right about the time people start having openings again. We can only hope. Tyson is 16 months now and really trying hard to talk. But most of the time it just sounds like sounds. He can say words but hasn't put them together yet. We are sure that when he does the talking will never stop. I hope to add a few pictures to this in a few days.

Tyson's first Birthday

We had Tyson's First Birthday party on September 20th, 2008. The party was at Tyson's Grandma and Grandpa Adams's house. We had lots of family and friends there for the big day. Tyson didn't no what to think of all the presents and the cake we put in front of him. We all got a good laugh out of watching Tyson that day. Here are some pictures of the day.

A day with Tyson is a day filled with laughing, crying and running. Tyson is almost a year old! Man how time fly's by when your having fun. Tyson is a very hands on kid. He likes to get into anything and everything you have laying around the house. He laughs at you when you run after him and he crys when you finally get him. Now that he has been walking for almost three months he is off to the races. He will run anywhere if you let him. This picture is about as still as you can get Tyson these days. He is so much fun to play with. Kevin and I can't wait for him to start talking, if he's anything like his mom it won't be long.

Our Return from the Beach

This last Weekend we went to the beach with some of our friends. We could not have asked for better weather. The sun was shinning and it was not too cold either. There were just a few passing showers but that was all. We got some great video of Tyson playing at the beach. He loved the sand. We loved running after him. Tyson is such a blessing in our life and to watch him grow and see the awe and wonder in his eyes as he discovers things is amazing. I can't wait to get all our pictures downloaded and printed up so I can see them all. I am so grateful that we live so close to the ocean and we can enjoy the Beauty that our Heavenly Father has given us to see. Kevin and I are already looking at going back to the beach again in the winter. We here that some of the winter storms are fun to watch from inside a warm beach house by the fire. We are also trying to plan a camping trip with our friends for next year. We all enjoy the beach so much, I am sure we will have just as much fun as we did with this last trip.

Getting Ready for the Beach

This weekend we are going to the beach with some of our friends. We are staying in a beach house at Lincoln City. We can't wait for the weekend to get here, it's going to be so much fun. I am learning how to be a good wife and mother by becoming more organized. By this I mean I am trying to keep the house clean and have food on the table when my husband Kevin comes home from work. It's a busy life running after an 11 month old little boy who wants nothing more then to run away from mom. He keeps me on my toes. As for the husband Kevin he is out almost all day killing bugs and small or large mice and rats. It's not the dream job but it pays the bills for now and is getting Kevin through school. He was going to start WSU Vancouver this fall but because there are a lot of classes he can still take at Clark and its cheaper he is staying there for one more year. Our life is on the move all the time. But we love it and we wouldn't trade it for the world.

Hello everyone! Well, today was very fun filled. Ashley spent the whole day trying to figure out some church stuff regarding the Primary Program and her substitution for Sunday in Primary. She works very hard at that. I, on the other hand, had a wonderful technician filled day loaded with pesticides (it's what i do!). Tyson has had a normal day being full of energy and getting into every single thing he can (- it's very hard to clean and try to keep everything organized with a child of this age running around).
For the exciting news, this weekend we have rented a beach house in Lincoln City. We will be staying there from Friday-Monday with the Fonokalafi's and Jorgensens. Maybe Travis too- we'll see? Other than that, just another boring day in the Couve! Oh, Ashley is a little miffed- last night one of her favorite former Blazers died (Kevin Duckworth)- she really liked him.
